We welcome as members all who value the key educational role played by the library in the life of a progressive community. It's both easy and inexpensive to join the Friends. Please join us today to help keep our public library viable.

Volunteer

We hope that as you join with us to make the Friends of the Library even stronger and more successful, you'll seriously consider offering your services as a volunteer. A few hours of your time each week or month would be a big help. Here are the types of jobs our volunteers do on a regular basis:

In the Library

•  Marketing and public relations

•  Library book repair, restocking books

•  Computer assistance for the public

•  Library programs for children & adults

•  Book delivery for homebound individuals

 

In the Bookstore & Other FOL Activities

•  Bookstore sales

•  Sorting incoming donated books, pricing them, and readying them for sale

•  Copying, folding, affixing labels to FOLIO, the Friends' quarterly newsletter
